Deaths due to extreme hot weather has become almost an annual feature in India with temperatures soaring above 48 degree Celsius ever so often...

I had the misfortune of experiencing the Great Indian Summer this April and stepping out of an air-conditioned train coach onto the sizzling platform really made me feel like I had stepped into a life-size oven!!!

Asmita we have the same problem here in New Orleans which is the deep south of america. It gets over 100 degrees in the shade.

And this will be called pleasant summer after 20-25 years. Wonder how unbearable it will become then.
Its almost scary to read about what all is going to happen and not being able to do anything that will definitely stop it from happening. Hope the politicians look beyond oil politics.
